New finds and good reads…

13 05 2009

Marty is a very dear friend of mine, who often comments on this blog. She started her own blog here, and posts about student life away from home as well as leaving Christianity and figuring out where she stands now. She’s a really talented lady and will probably be famous someday. I haven’t figured out for what yet, but all the signs are there. Give her some click-love, she’s a hoot!

While things were veeery quiet around the atheist blogosphere, this blog popped up. Paul is an always-been-an atheist from New Zealand who talks about evolution, religion and all that jazz – or should I say technical death metal? So pop around and read what he has to say because a) He writes great posts, and b) You need a crowd to mosh effectively.

Bay of Fundie has been around for a while, and I’ve linked before but I just enjoy this site for the lulz. It’s like the happy atheist brigade, merrily steamrolling its way through fundamental bullshit while blowing soap bubbles and singing show-tunes. Good times.

A Time To Rend is written by a blogger who left Christianity after 18 years in the faith and is working out where he stands. Married to a Christian woman and leaving a Christian community after so many years isn’t an easy ride, so read his posts for that perspective. Well written, thoughtful and down-to-earth.

Not by any means new to this blog, but a firm favourite and always a good read – Greg at Skin Hunger talks about LGBT, atheism, humanism and what does it all mean… Check it out.

yay thankies! Okay so you’re getting money from Greg which means I don’t have to do that, can I pay you in hugs instead?

Or maybe, seeing your Twitter Feed, cooking lessons? ;)
